WICHE Programs

Washington residents can enroll in eligible programs in 14 western states at reduced tuition rates through the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE) program. Participating states include Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming. 

Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE)

Undergraduate students can enroll at participating two- and four-year colleges and universities. Students pay 150 percent of the receiving school’s resident tuition, a significant savings over nonresident tuition.

  • WUE Eligibility: To be eligible, you must be a Washington state resident. Some colleges and universities have additional criteria, (such as ACT/SAT test scores or high school grade point averages).

 

Western Regional Graduate Program

Graduate students can enroll in graduate programs at resident tuition rates.
